A BIT ABOUT ME

An Impassioned Writer

Born in Omaha NE, I was influenced to write by my English teacher, Mrs. Phillips, at Westbrook Junior High. She would always give me extra writing assignments and encouraged my creativity.

I moved to Minnesota my Sophomore year of high school and lost of bit of my excitement for writing. I wrote a little bit here and there, but nothing of importance.

I married in my early twenties and moved to Wisconsin, where I was a stay at home mom. We had three beautiful kids, James, Sonia, and Seth. I began to write again, between raising my kids and being a wife it was not very often.

Years go by and I divorced from my husband and moved back to Minnesota. I soon married again and gave birth to another beautiful daughter, Brianna. Times were hard and writing was once again pushed aside.

Years later, and another divorce in the books, I settle back into Wisconsin and started a relationship with someone who also enjoys to write. Adam and I help each other and encourage each other's creativity.  I have a full time job, four amazing kids, three beautiful grandsons, Carter, Jayce, and Ryatt, and I am a board member for the Humane Society in my county, which is a no kill shelter.

I am excited to find the time to write and tell the story of Soriana and her endeavors.
